Aug. 2-Salute to Local Business Day- Have a small biz or shop you’d like to advertise? The Lancaster Polo Club invites you to set up your tent for free (or set up in their chukker club tent) before their Sunday game at Forney Field to sell your wares or raise awareness of your products, services, and Lititz-area business. Aug. 4- Lititz Endless Summer at Lititz Springs Pool- Come out and make a splash at the local celebration of National Night Out sponsored by the Lititz Borough Police Department from 6-9 p.m. Free admission, food, and activities for kids including a bouncy castle. Aug. 8- Rotary Craft Show-The “Big One”- What will be the hot items at this year’s craft show? Come and see at the event that draws tens of thousands of eager shoppers from around the country to downtown Lititz on the second Saturday in August for the most amazing array of crafts in one location. Featuring over 700 vendors, the show stretches up and down East Main Street and Broad St., with the majority of sellers located in Lititz Springs Park. Note: Due to construction, there is NO shuttle from Bonfield Elementary School. Aug. 9- 1st Annual Adult Triathlon– It’s not often you get to do a “first” in Lititz, so why not swim, bike, and run your way into Lititz history? Aug. 9-Evening of Music at Lititz Historical Foundation’s Mary Oehme Gardens- Bring your lawn chair and enjoy a free concert featuring music in the serene garden setting behind the Johannes Mueller House. 6 pm. Aug. 12– Car Cruise Night– Bring your friends and family to stroll among over 200 vehicles lining picturesque East Main Street in downtown Lititz from 5:30 to 9:30 pm during the annual Car Cruise sponsored by the Lititz Lions Club. Featuring music, a DJ, and more. Proceeds go to local Lions projects, as well as District, State and International projects focused on providing funds for vision-related charities.
