Wondering what to do tonight? Here’s a list of choices for your evening entertainment, all without venturing far from home.

1) First of all, there’s Second Friday in Lititz. Shops stay open late and the charming town of Lititz features special performances, contests, and events.  This week, there’s a Lego building contest at Beers + Hoffman architects, the band Strange Eden will perform in front of the shops on Sturgis Lane, and local artist Jason Goodman will be on hand at Lititz Framing and Fine Arts.

2) Free Movie in the Park-Tonight, the original Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory will be shown in the park that’s located next to Cargill Chocolate Factory. How perfect and ironic is that? You can’t beat free popcorn and a movie on the big screen under the evening sky in Lititz Springs Park. Movie starts at dusk.

3) Build your Own Lego Creation– Beers and Hoffman architects are encouraging aspiring builders of all ages to come out and enjoy an evening of creative play. Who knows, you might just win their building contest!

4) Alphabetical Pub Hop– It’s a hot Friday night, so cool down by having your own mini craft beer festival as a warm-up for the 2nd Lititz AMBUCS Craft Beer festival next month. Do something different-visit these local pubs in alphabetical order. You can hop from ABC to Bull’s Head, then Jo Boys, where tonight they’re releasing their new Gose beer, touted as “a tart and fruity wheat ale with slight coriander and salt character.” Did we leave any pubs out? Comment below! Remember, the most important letters for the night-DD. Make sure you have a designated driver, and please, do NOT drink and drive.

5) Wine and More on North Broad Street- Believe it or not, there are some amazing stores located just north of East Main Street.  Stroll up the street for a sampling wine and retail goods like clothing, fine art, and more.  We’re especially fond of the candles, bulbs, and tasteful decor at EI Home.
