Lititz Community Calendar Feb. 15-March 21, 2015
Ongoing through Feb. 28-Isaac’s “Get Soup, Give Soup” Benefit-Want to be a part of donating soup to to help feed the hungry? All you have to do is go to a local Isaac’s Famous Grilled Sandwiches (there’s one here in Lititz) and buy a cup of soup. For for every 100 cups of soup that customers purchase, Isaac’s will donate one gallon of soup to a local organization, like a soup kitchen or homeless shelter, to feed hungry people. What better way on these wind-chill days than to supply yourself, and someone else, with warm, nutritious soup? Since the campaign kicked off in January, Isaac’s has donated over 380 gallons of soup to those in need. Visit www.isaacsdeli.com/GetSoupResults.asp to keep track of how much soup they donate. As of press time, the Lititz restaurant is tied for fourth place with East York at 34 gallons donated, so let’s see if we can get Lititz to the top of the donation list! The campaign will run through February 28th. To order soup in Lititz, call (717) 625-1181.
