6 Lititz News Items for Monday
First, Lititz Merry Christmas was a huge success! Held this year at Lititz Elementary and downtown on a cold, rainy day, over 200 children updated Santa with their Christmas wish list while Mrs. Claus took copious notes. An estimated 500 people were in attendance!
The Warwick High School girl’s basketball came became champions over the weekend! They won the Elizabethtown Tip-Off Tournament on outstanding scoring by Rylee Derr, who shot for 26 points during the final game and was selected tournament MVP!
On Friday night, the Warwick HS boy’s basketball team won two nail-biter games, from which parents are reportedly still recovering. The varsity game went down to the wire and the JV went into triple overtime! Read the details, see lots of photos, and check out the box score.

The Lititz Springs Park Christmas tree is now lit! Though the Friday night tree-lighting ceremony in Lititz Springs Park was cancelled due to rain, the tree was lit Saturday without fanfare for shoppers to enjoy over the weekend.
