WATCH: Video of Sledding Shows the View from Above Bomberger’s Hill

Every snowy small town in America has a sledding hill. In Lititz, that hill is known as Bomberger’s Hill.

After the massive blizzard known as Jonas dumped over two feet of snow on Lititz, Hunter Deibler and friends descended on Bomberger’s Hill on Sunday, ready to capture the action under the watchful eye of a drone that recorded the beauty of the sledding experience from new heights.

“I wanted to try something different from your average photos and videos,” said Deibler, who attends Warwick Middle School. “From above the sled you get a different experience of everything that happened.”

From the cars that line the edge of Newport Drive at the top of the hill, to a young man snaking down the slope, Deibler’s video captures the common sledding experience in a unique way. He received the drone used to film the experience as a Christmas gift.

“I wanted the drone because it gives a new perspective when filming a video or taking a photo,” said Deibler, who plays hockey and enjoys the winter.
