(LITITZ, Pa-LititzDailyNews.com) – A fourth resident at Brethren Village has died after testing positive for COVID-19, and two more workers at the sprawling senior housing campus have tested positive for the disease.

All four deaths to date have occurred in residents of the Brook Place North skilled nursing memory support unit, where CNAs have also tested positive for COVID-19. Twenty residents are typically housed at Brook Place North.

Today it was announced that two employees who work in a different area of the facility have tested positive. Two staff members who work in The Courtyards tested positive.

Brethren Village currently has 12 active, positive COVID-19 cases. Four Brook Place North skilled nursing memory support residents, four Brook Place North CNAs, two Courtyard employees, and two administrators. The four deceased residents are not included in the count.

Brethren Village houses 1,200 residents in a variety of levels of care, but has not released residency statistics for each level, citing daily fluctuations.
