Mar. 11-Second Friday-Downtown Lititz buzzes with energy, activity and entertainment when merchants keep their doors open late from 5 to 9 p.m. Vendors, specials, and different offerings each month. A Lego building contest is held each month from 5-8 p.m. at Beers + Hoffman Architects above Appalachian Brewery on Water St. It’s free, and kids can construct something at home or build with blocks at B + H. The contest features a different theme each month.

The Warwick High School Music Department will present their Spring Musical, “The Little Mermaid,” on Friday and Saturday, March 11 and 12 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, March 13, at 2:00 p.m. in the Warwick High School Performing Arts Center. Mar. 15- Book Signing-Businesswoman Rhoda Stauffer Oberholtzer will share her new book,  “Designed: A Life of Business Fulfilled with Purpose,”at Landis Homes from 3:30-5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 15. Rhoda is one of 12 children of Roy and Florence Stauffer, who founded Stauffers of Kissel Hill, a local business of supermarkets and garden centers. Rhoda spent many years working in floral design which led her to use floral designs to illustrate Biblical teachings. She will be sharing from her illustrations beginning at 3:30 p.m. and will autograph books after the presentation. Books will be available for sale.  Landis Homes is located at 1001 East Oregon Road, Lititz. The event will take place in the Westview Community Room. Mar. 19 – Free Letter Press Printing Lecture: “The History of the Letter Press Printing” Ken Kulokowsky from the Lancaster Letterpress Museum will be speaking. This event, sponsored by Lititz Historical Foundation, will take place at the Lititz Library on Saturday, March 19, at 1:30 p.m.

Mar. 20 – Easter Egg Hunt – An Easter egg hunt benefiting Caitlin’s Smiles will be held at Whitcomb Photography Studio (506 West Lincoln Avenue) on Sunday, March 20, at 3 p.m. The event is free to attend and donations are welcome. Prize eggs containing free photo sessions will be offered and anyone who donates arts and crafts supplies gets entered into a raffle. Mar. 21- Parkinson’s Support Group Meeting-The first meeting of the year of the Lancaster County Parkinson’s Support Group will be held on March 21 and will feature Dr. Mark Stahl, a Movement Disorder Neurologist from Hershey Medical Center, who will speak on “New Ways to Deliver Carbidopa/Levodopa” and will answer questions. The event will be held in the Westview Community Room. The meeting is open to the public. Westview Community Room at Landis Homes, 1001 East Oregon Road, Lititz.  Following the meeting will be a time of refreshments and informal discussion.  The monthly meetings are designed for education and support for persons diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease and their families.  The Lancaster County Parkinson’s Support Group meets at Landis Homes the third Monday of each month from March through November. Mar. 26 – Easter Egg Hunt – Children ten and younger can enjoy a free Easter egg hunt at Lititz United Methodist Church. All ages are invited to enjoy crafts, cookies, and door prizes.  Event runs from 10:00-11:30 a.m. Bring your own basket.

Mar. 26- Indoor Easter Egg Hunt-Hershey chocolate treats hidden at stops indoors among a collection of amazing automobiles at the AACA Auto Musuem in Hershey is a treat for kids and adults alike. 11 a.m-1:30 pm. Mar. 26 – Easter Egg Hunt – A hopping good time will be had by all at the annual Easter Egg Hunt held at John Bonfield Elementary School. The event is sponsored by the Lititz Lions Club. Event begins at 10:30 a.m.

Mar. 31-Speaker and Open House at New Lancaster Bible College Building-Author and speaker Dr. Ravi Zacharias will give the keynote address following the ribbon-cutting ceremony at the  new Charles Frey Academic Center on the campus at Lancaster Bible College. The event will begin on March 31 with guided tours of the new 50,000 square foot facilities for the public from 1–4 p.m., followed by a ribbon cutting ceremony at 6 p.m. and capped off with Dr. Zacharias’s address at 7:30 p.m. The event is free, but tickets are required..
