World Cow Corn Maze at Oregon Dairy – Think you can navigate your way out of a corn maze without a drone or an app? Head on over to the 2021 World Cow Corn Maze at Oregon Dairy and test your skills. Open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Daytime and flashlight maze. Be sure to check out the Virtual Tour of the Corn Maze, where you can get virtually lost amid tall stalks of corn for free. October 2 – Annual Artisan’s Porchwalk – The annual event that allows you to meander from Main St. to the front yards of artists throughout Lititz has relocated this year to Lititz Springs Park. Artisans display and sell their crafts and creations in the pictueresque park. Ceramics, decor, fiber arts, jewelry, painting/drawing, photography, sculpture, and woodworking. October 9 – Lititz Chocolate Walk – Think of it as trick-or-treat for adults. Sample chocolate confections at 32 destination shops in downtown Lititz, then vote for your favorite. What decadent chocolate desserts will the chefs, bakers, ice cream and candy makers create this year? Where: Downtown Lititz Tickets: $40 Cash/check, $42.50 online. Oct 15-31 Hersheypark in the Dark – Combine coasters and chocolate and you have a twisting, turning, trick-or-treat! Trek the Treatville trick-or-treat trail with candy stops inside Hersheypark for guests ages 12 & under. Lights-out rides on five coasters as night rides return. Features costumed Hershey characters, new fall foods, and the Creatures of the Night program at ZooAmerica. When: Fridays 5-9 p.m. and weekends 2-9 pm. Oct. 16- 6th Annual Lititz 5k for Life and 1-Mile Fun Run- Go the extra mile for the unborn and survivors of human trafficking by walking or running virtually or in person at the Lititz 5k for Life hosted at St. James Catholic Church. Funds raised will be donated to local life-affirming ministries, including House of His Creation, North Star Initiative, and A Woman’s Concern. Runners and walkers of all ages and fitness levels are invited. Online participants can complete their run/walk anytime before 11 a.m. on race day. Nov. 2 – Drive the Block at Rock Lititz – A drive-through post-Halloween candy handout at Rock Lititz. When: 6-9 p.m. Pre-registration required. Visit Drive the Block to register on Eventbrite.
