(LITITZ, Pa-LititzDailyNews.com) – The annual Christmas in the Park celebration, including the lighting of the community Christmas tree, will take place tonight, Friday, December 3, starting at 6:30 p.m. in Lititz Springs Park bandshell. The special holiday celebration will include a featured performance by the Encore Dance Center’s Performance Company of their holiday routine. The Warwick High School Concert Choir is expected to perform as well. Attendees are invited to sing along to Christmas carols and countdown to the lighting of the Community Christmas Tree. Local children look forward to the appearance of Mr. and Mrs. Claus at the event as well.
This free community event has no ticketing requirement, is not limited in capacity, and does not require pre-registration. The event is open to all and usually lasts 30-45 minutes, according to the park website. Donations to fund park maintenance and upkeep will be accepted.
