(Lititz, PA-LititzDailyNews.com) – In a rye twist, Stoll and Wolfe Distillery in Lititz, known for their award-winning whiskey, has shifted gears to produce products that are in demand to combat the spread of coronavirus.
“We’re currently making surface disinfectant, but are awaiting a shipment of glycerol to produce sanitizer according to protocol laid out by the World Health Organization,” said Erik Wolfe, a partner in the company.

In light of a nationwide shortage of hand sanitizer triggered by the first confirmed cases of the disease in the U.S. and growing outbreaks in major cities like Philadelphia and New York, small distilleries around the country pivoted production to create the products.
Today, Stoll and Wolfe are busy delivering surface disinfectant to customers.

They’re also delivering vodka, gin, whiskey, and bourbon.
Orders may be placed on their website for either curbside pickup or delivery. Buyers must be 21 years of age or older and must present a valid ID to purchase. The ordering and pickup instructions are very specific.
Governor Tom Wolfe recently ordered bars and liquor stores to close throughout the state. The Stoll and Wolfe Tasting Room is closed due to that order.
Yesterday during a press conference the governor said that the Liquor Control Board (LCB) is being utilized to enforce orders and to make sure that bars aren’t open.
