Warwick High School’s 2014-2015 academic performance declined from the previous year, according to the Pennsylvania School Performance Profile released today by The Pennsylvania Department of Education for each public school in the state that offers an 11th grade.

The profile, which is regarded as a report card for schools, assigns scores from 0 to 100. For ease of understanding, media outlets typically equate the scores with a letter grade, similar to student report cards.

Warwick’s academic performance is considered to have dropped an entire letter grade from the previous year.

The building level academic score for Warwick High School released today is 89.5. Based on the standard scoring brackets, an 89.5 would equate with a B grade, down from last year’s score of 96.

Scores are issued by the DOE based on a number of factors, including standardized tests.
