(LITITZ, Pa.- LititzDailyNews.com) Lancaster County residents are constantly bombarded by coronavirus facts and figures. There are over a thousand who have tested positive in the county. But where exactly are the cases? You can find out on our exclusive interactive chart below.
LititzDailyNews.com has created this interactive chart that we’ll be updating frequently, starting with data published on 4/22/2020. You’ll notice that the icons chosen for the graph are people. In the midst of all of the data, let’s not forget that these are individuals who are coping with this disease.
HOW TO — USE THE CHART:
Cell or tablet: TAP your finger ON the icons to display the number of people who have tested positive in a location.
Computer: Move your mouse to hover over the icons and display the count. This information is provided by the state at the zip code level.
If a few small communities share a zip code, the data is reported together. At this point, the state has not provided data to the public at a level drilled down any lower than zip code.
If a zip code has 1-4 individuals positive for the coronavirus, the state does not provide the actual case count, so the chart will show estimates for those.
