Return of the Snow Coincides with Evening Commute, More Accumulation Anticipated

A storm that is expected to drop over a foot of snow along the East coast is having an impact on the evening commute in Lititz and Lancaster County.  Although crews are out throughout the county, roads are covered with snow and icy in spots.

Winds are expected to be a major factor in the storm up and down the eastern seaboard, but are anticipated to be less problematic here in Central Pennsylvania.  Winds are currently at 8 mph with gusts to 17 mph in Lititz, and the temperature just dropped to 20 degrees, according to the Weatherbug app.
