(LITITZ, Pa.-LititzDailyNews.com) A Lititz man out on $2,000 unsecured bail stemming from charges of indecent exposure in October 2021 was rearrested and charged by police for allegedly exposing himself and engaging in public self-stimulation late in the evening of January 1 in the same Warwick Township neighborhood.
Micah James Moraga, 21, has been charged with indecent exposure and harassment for an incident that took place on the evening of January 1 in Warwick Township, according to police news release issued this morning.
Northern Lancaster County Regional Police Department (NLCRPD) originally said in a January 2 news release that it received multiple calls around 11:15 p.m. on the evening of January 1 about a male exposing himself and engaged in an act of public self-touching in the 400 block of North Oak St. in Warwick Township, just off of Newport Road east of downtown Lititz.
The news release issued this morning by police after the suspect was charged provides more detail into the allegations.
Police say they received report that a male sitting on a bench had exposed himself to a female who was out for a walk. The police statement says that NLCRPD officers identified Micah James Moraga as the male who had exposed himself.

Moraga was previously arrested and charged with two counts of indecent exposure in the same neighborhood in October 2021, according to court documents. He was released on $2,000 unsecured bail for that incident, court records show. A Status Conference for that case is scheduled for January 20, court records show.

According to the statement, NCRPD patrols located the suspect shortly after the calls came in and took him into custody at 11:23 p.m. They transported the suspect to department headquarters for booking, then released him pending the filing of charges.
Police say that Pennsylvania Rules of Criminal Procedure and the grading of the offense require the charges be filed at the designated office of the Magisterial District Justice (MDJ) and a summons issued. As of Monday morning, charges have been filed. A preliminary hearing date has not yet been set. (Story continues below)
The NLCRPD statement says that the department is seeking “revocation of conditions of probation for the suspect” and “exploring any potential bail violations that may exist on a previous arrest for a similar offense.” The police statement says they will not release the identity of the suspect until after filing of charges at the office of the MDJ.
According to court documents, Moraga previously pleaded guilty in June of 2021 to two separate charges of theft from a motor vehicle and was sentenced to a year of probation in both cases.
